Softball Recap: Graves County Wins Going Away Against Central

Graves County not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Central Rebels. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-6 on Friday.

The victory made it two in a row for Graves County and bumps their season record up to 10-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Central, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Graves County will take on Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Marshals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Central, they will face off against Scott City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
