Volleyball Game Preview: Williams Valley Vikings vs. Upper Dauphin Area Trojans

Williams Valley is 1-7 against Upper Dauphin Area since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Vikings will host the Trojans at 12:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Williams Valley earned a 3-1 win over Schuylkill Haven. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Upper Dauphin Area and Millersburg had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Trojans won by a set and slipped past the Indians 3-2. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Williams Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Williams Valley might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Upper Dauphin Area when the teams last played back in September of 2023. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
