Softball Recap: West Linn Lions vs. Oregon City Pioneers

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but West Linn ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Oregon City Pioneers 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won five in a row.

Meadow Sanborn looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single walk in six consecutive appearances.
