Volleyball Game Preview: Artesia Pioneers vs. Whitney Wildcats

The Artesia Pioneers will face off against the Whitney Wildcats at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Artesia is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Cerritos just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Dons, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Whitney got the win against Glenn on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Whitney took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-7, 25-12.

Artesia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Whitney, their win bumped their record up to 20-13.
