Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Albert Lea

While Albert Lea's win against Austin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Packers 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Logan Davis was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Cooper Kermes, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Albert Lea's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Austin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Albert Lea is set to take on their familiar foe Faribault at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Austin will challenge rival Northfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
