Basketball Recap: Teutopolis Comes Up Short

Teutopolis lost against Triad back in January of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes fell 48-38 to the Triad Knights.

Teutopolis' loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Triad, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Teutopolis and Triad should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Teutopolis will take on Mattoon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 242 places (118 vs. 360). Teutopolis will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Triad (ranked 45th) will meet Calvary (ranked 213th) at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
