Grant lost to Georgetown on January 9th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Grant Cougars walked away with a 57-45 victory over the Georgetown Bulldogs.

Grant was led to victory by A Sykes and A Sykes. A went 9 for 15 on his way to 18 points along with eight boards and eight steals, while A went 7 of 12 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave A a new career-high in steals. R Searcy was another key player, putting up ten points.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Georgetown, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 23-7 record.

Grant will square off against Franklin Parish at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Georgetown has already played their next match (against Doyline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
