Football Recap: Christian Community Takes a Loss

Christian Community came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Providence Christian Academy LIONS, falling 42-14. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Colts came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked second, while the LIONS are ranked 148th).

Christian Community has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Providence Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
