Volleyball Recap: Holly Bronchos vs. Corunna Cavaliers
Holly had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Corunna Cavaliers. This was payback for the Bronchos, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-19, 25-22.
Corunna's loss came despite strong showings from Maddie Brown and Emily Reichert. Brown had 34 digs and two aces, while Reichert had 15 digs. Brown is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Holly pushed their record up to 7-12-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Corunna, their loss dropped their record down to 14-14.
Holly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Corunna and Kearsley will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Corunna is facing Kearsley at the right time seeing as Kearsley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
