Softball Recap: South Aiken Takes a Loss

South Aiken lost against North Augusta back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Thoroughbreds came up short against the Yellow Jackets, falling 10-3. The Thoroughbreds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Aiken's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for North Augusta, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

After both having extra time off, South Aiken and Midland Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Thoroughbreds surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Augusta, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Fighting Green Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.36 runs per game on average), something the Yellow Jackets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
