Volleyball Game Preview: Virgin Valley Bulldogs vs. Moapa Valley Pirates

The Virgin Valley Bulldogs will square off against the Moapa Valley Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Virgin Valley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Virgin Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Cedar Valley on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aviators.

Meanwhile, Moapa Valley can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Somerset Academy Losee 3-2.

Moapa Valley wouldn't go down easily and took Somerset Academy Losee into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 24-26, 24-26, 15-10.

Virgin Valley's loss dropped their record down to 24-9. As for Moapa Valley, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Everything went Virgin Valley's way against Moapa Valley in their previous matchup back in March, as Virgin Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
