The Skyline Prep Bengals will head out on the road to take on the Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Skyline Prep has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while the Wolves will arrive with seven straight victories.
Last Friday, Skyline Prep was beaten by the Storm 77-33. Skyline Prep has not had much luck with the Storm recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Learning Foundation & Performing Arts faced the Eagles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Learning Foundation & Performing Arts sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over the Eagles on Wednesday.
It was another big night for Jabari Lee, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Thaddeus Hawkins, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Skyline Prep's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, their victory bumped their record up to 19-3.
