Baseball Recap: Tulelake's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Tulelake can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Westwood Lumberjacks. The contest marked the Honkers' most dominant win of the season.

Miles Scott was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Kevin Larsen was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and two doubles.

Tulelake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .758. They are 5-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Tulelake's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Tulelake will take on Lost River at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westwood, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Plumas Charter at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
