Volleyball Recap: Elk River Takes a Loss

Elk River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Washburn Millers. The Elks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Millers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2016.

Elk River's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Washburn, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Elk River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Totino-Grace on the 15th. As for Washburn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Rosemount on the 13th.
