Basketball Game Preview: Summit Christian Academy Eagles vs. Isle of Wight Academy Chargers

The Summit Christian Academy Eagles will face off against the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Summit Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Isle of Wight Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Summit Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home back in December of 2024, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 57-46 win over Yeshivas Aish Kodesh Talmudical Academy.

Summit Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cole Miller, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 16 points. Courtland Reiter was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Isle of Wight Academy played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Hampton Roads Academy and fell 60-32. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Summit Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Isle of Wight Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Summit Christian Academy came up short against Isle of Wight Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2016, falling 63-58.
