Warhill had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They strolled past the Poquoson Islanders with points to spare, taking the game 51-34. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-42 last Monday.

Warhill pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Poquoson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Coincidentally, Warhill and Poquoson will both be playing Lafayette the next time they take the court. Warhill will head out to face Lafayette at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Poquoson will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
