While Glenbard South put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Addison Trail. The Raiders walked away with a 5-0 win over the Blazers. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Blazers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Jacob Ruge tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tim Ewald, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Evan Bogue also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Glenbard South and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Addison Trail, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Glenbard South has already played their next game, an 11-5 win against Conant on the 5th. As for Addison Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-4 victory against Fenton on the 3rd.
