Football Recap: Tough Loss for Shawnee

Shawnee's previous matchup with Rancocas Valley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Renegades had to suffer through a 36-6 loss at the hands of the Red Devils. The loss continues a trend for the Renegades in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Zach Merhar continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rancocas Valley, throwing for 206 yards and 5 TDs (2 INT). Michael McQueen was another key player, picking up 59 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Having lost for the first time this season, Shawnee fell to 3-1. As for Rancocas Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Shawnee will challenge their in-conference opponent Delsea at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rancocas Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Cherokee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
