Basketball Recap: Streetsboro Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Streetsboro entered their tilt with Norton on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Norton Panthers with a sharp 55-32 win. The Rockets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Streetsboro got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Batten out in front who went 8 of 20 on his way to 23 points and seven boards. Batten's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Charles Ivory was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 11 points and five rebounds.

Streetsboro smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Streetsboro's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. As for Norton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
