It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but South Sevier ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs 1-0. South Sevier's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Peyton Gibson, who's now up to 25 this season.

South Sevier pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Gunnison Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

South Sevier has already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Beaver on the 11th. As for Gunnison Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Parowan on the 10th.
