Mt. Rainier entered their tilt with Sumner on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Spartans.

Mt. Rainier's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Sumner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Mt. Rainier and Gonzaga Prep will shake off the rust and duke it out at 9:45 a.m. on Friday. Sumner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
