Softball Recap: Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Comes Up Short

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 10-5 to the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will face off against Minneota at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they will take on Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
