Volleyball Game Preview: Chetopa Hornets vs. Northeast Vikings

After both having extra time off, the Chetopa Hornets and the Northeast Vikings will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Chetopa has struggled recently with seven defeats in a row, while Northeast will arrive with four straight victories.

On Tuesday, Chetopa came up short against St. Paul and fell 2-0.

Chetopa was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Northeast beat Marmaton Valley 2-0 on Tuesday.

Northeast easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16.

Northeast's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Chetopa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Chetopa couldn't quite get it done against Northeast in their previous matchup last Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
