Basketball Recap: Tamarac Beats Berlin/New Lebanon for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Tamarac extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kamerin Edmonds. The Tamarac Bengals simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Berlin/New Lebanon Mountain Lions 63-27 thanks in part to Edmonds, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points along with six boards and five steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Brady Briggs, who posted seven points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Tamarac pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Tamarac wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-46 victory against Lansingburgh on the 25th. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, they will venture away from home to face off against Waterford-Halfmoon at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
