Baseball Recap: Tate Has No Trouble Against Booker T. Washington

Tate won the last time they faced Booker T. Washington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tate Aggies blew past the Booker T. Washington Wildcats 12-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aggies.

Kaleb Posta was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nathan Connors, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Hunter Clayton, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Tate now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Booker T. Washington, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Tate will venture away from home to take on Pace at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Tate's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Booker T. Washington, they will face off against West Florida Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
