Volleyball Game Preview: Solon Springs Eagles vs. Hurley Northstars + How To Watch

Solon Springs hasn't had much luck against Hurley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Northstars at 5:45 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Solon Springs will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Drummond, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Eagles blew past the Lumberjacks 3-0 on Monday.

While Solon Springs won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-20.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hurley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Mercer by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Hurley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 26-24, 26-24.

Solon Springs' victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Hurley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
