Soccer Recap: River Falls Find Success

River Falls took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against D.C. Everest, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats never let the Evergreens get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but River Falls were the better team in the second half.

River Falls' win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for D.C. Everest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. River Falls will challenge Superior at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for D.C. Everest, they will head out to face off against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
