Volleyball Recap: Bay City's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Bay City was the 2-1 winner over Sweeny when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Blackcats fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Blackcats' undefeated start to the season.

Sweeny can attribute much of their success to Paislee Nobles, who had 12 digs and three aces. Those 12 digs gave Nobles a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bay City fell to 3-1. As for Sweeny, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Bay City and Sweeny will both be playing Tidehaven the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Tigers at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, while the Blackcats will head out to face them on Thursday.
