Basketball Recap: Tyson Grove's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta over Montevideo

If Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta was riding high fresh off their 68-45 takedown of Eden Valley-Watkins last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers fell 70-62 to the Montevideo Thunderhawks on Thursday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyson Grove, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 17 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Asmus, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

As for Montevideo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 75-60 win against Luverne on the 14th.
