Thousand Oaks waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Huntington Beach Oilers.

Samantha Case spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on ten hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Olivia LePage was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Morgan Casillas was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Thousand Oaks pushed their record up to 15-5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Huntington Beach, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

Coincidentally, Thousand Oaks and Huntington Beach will both be playing Paso Robles the next time they take the field. The Oilers will head out to face the Bearcats at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
