Soccer Recap: East Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for East after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Southeast Golden Buffalo by a score of 2-1. East were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Southeast apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

East's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3-2. As for Southeast, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. East will face off against rival Bishop Carroll on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southeast is set to take on their familiar foe Northwest on Thursday.
