Stamford won the last time they faced Henrietta and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs took down the Bearcats 31-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Mason Mueller was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 260 yards and two TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 72 yards. Those 260 passing yards gave him a new career-high. A healthy portion of Mueller's aerial production (105 yards to be exact) went to Slayden Young.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Stamford's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Kree McCright, Taegen Pimpton, and Wade Wright, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Despite the defeat, Henrietta saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cruse Coleman rushed for 168 yards and one score while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards. Coleman didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble, made six total tackles, and defended one pass.

Stamford now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Henrietta, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
