Basketball Recap: Bath County Comes Up Short

Bath County lost against Parry McCluer back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bath County Chargers had to suffer through a 83-45 loss at the hands of the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Fighting Blues are ranked 175th).

Bath County's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Parry McCluer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Bath County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Bath County surely won't give up without a fight. Parry McCluer has already played their next contest (against Narrows), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
