Baseball Recap: Nease Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Nease's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Chiles Timberwolves on Saturday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Timberwolves earlier this season, when they won 9-4.

Nease has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. Chiles has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nease will square off against Suncoast at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chiles, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Wakulla at 6:00 p.m.
