It was a proper cat-fight when Walnut Grove challenged Greenville on Friday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.

Leading Walnut Grove to victory were Madison Kutch and Maleah Evans. Kutch had 13 digs and three aces, while Evans had five digs and two aces. Evans is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Walnut Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Greenville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Faith Rodden had 13 digs and two assists.
