Volleyball Recap: Shadow Hills Comes Up Short

If Shadow Hills was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rancho Mirage on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell just short of the La Quinta Blackhawks by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Blackhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Shadow Hills started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 24-26, 25-22, 25-12, 15-4.

Shadow Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for La Quinta, their win bumped their record up to 6-23.

As of now, neither Shadow Hills nor the Blackhawks have any future games scheduled.
