Ocean Lakes barely beat Landstown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dolphins blew past the Eagles 8-2 on Thursday. Considering the Dolphins have won four contests by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Luke Ellison looked comfortable as he  tossed 3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time he's  pitched this season.
 At the plate, Ocean Lakes let  Connor Mais and  Tre Hamilton run wild. Mais  scored a  run while going 2-for-3, while  Hamilton  scored a  run while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.  Donovan Nagle also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
 Ocean Lakes  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .575. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Landstown only posted  an  OBP of  .375.
Ocean Lakes pushed their record up to 6-2 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Landstown,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at six games  and leaves them with a 6-2 record.
 Coming up, Ocean Lakes will square off against James Island at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Landstown, they will challenge Hedgesville at 11:00  a.m.  on Monday.
