Baseball Recap: Hudson Wins Going Away Against Rensselaer

Hudson got themselves on the board against Rensselaer on Monday, but Rensselaer never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Bluehawks' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Eli Conte was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joe Simmons, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Hudson's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Hudson and Rensselaer will both be playing Maple Hill the next time they take the field. The Bluehawks will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on May 7.
