Valley View entered their tilt with Hidalgo on Tuesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Hidalgo Pirates get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The Tigers wouldn't have won without Ariadna Rodriguez, who scored the game-winner.

Valley View's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five matchups. As for Hidalgo, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Valley View will head out to square off against Zapata at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hidalgo will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Vanguard Academy Rembrandt at 6:00 p.m. on March 14th.
