Volleyball Game Preview: Piedmont Highlanders vs. Bishop O'Dowd Dragons

Piedmont hasn't had much luck against Bishop O'Dowd recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Highlanders will host the Dragons at 5:30 p.m.

Piedmont is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Encinal, falling 3-0.

Piedmont was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Bishop O'Dowd got the win against Alameda on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Bishop O'Dowd won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.

Bishop O'Dowd's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Piedmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
