Softball Recap: DeForest Victorious

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DeForest). They came out on top against the Stoughton Vikings by a score of 11-8 on Monday. The Norskies haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

DeForest's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Stoughton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeForest will take on Fort Atkinson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Norskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blackhawks have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
