It was a good run, but New Hope unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against the Pontotoc Warriors, falling 61-29. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Hope's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5. As for Pontotoc, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

New Hope has already played their next game (against Lafayette), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pontotoc wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 47-46 defeat against Collierville on the 18th.
