Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Has No Trouble Against Clearfield

Syracuse barely beat Clearfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans blew past the Falcons 3-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Gabe Meredith paced Syracuse's offense, picking up 13 kills. Meredith got some help from Talon Morris and his 32 assists. Morris also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Kayl Beutler, racking up three apiece.

Syracuse's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Clearfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Syracuse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Murray on the 19th. As for Clearfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Ogden on the 19th.
