Softball Recap: Harford Tech Cobras vs. North East Indians
Harford Tech lost against North East last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cobras fell just short of the Indians by a score of 6-5. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mikayla McJilton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Shiloh Wall was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lyric Strong, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Harford Tech's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for North East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Harford Tech will square off against rival Patterson Mill at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cobras 2.7, Patterson Mill 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, North East is set to face off against their familiar foe Rising Sun at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
