The Tabernacle Torches lost against the Cornerstone Christian Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Tabernacle took a 40-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cornerstone Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tabernacle in their matchups with Cornerstone Christian: they've now lost three in a row.

Cornerstone Christian found their leader in underclassman Tamia Ballard, who scored 19 points along with 9 steals and 6 rebounds. The contest was Ballard's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Coots, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.

Tabernacle's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cornerstone Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
