Auburndale lost against Chippewa Falls back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-9.

Sidney Wolff paced Auburndale's offense, picking up five kills. Wolff were helped by Chesney Nagel and Jalynn Scherr, who contributed three assists each.

Auburndale's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Chippewa Falls, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
