Basketball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Brookside Cardinals, falling 80-60. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 83-59 back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Columbia and nudges their season record down to 9-8. As for Brookside, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Columbia will challenge Firelands at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Ridgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
