Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Auburn). Everything went their way against Southern/Diller-Odell on Saturday as the Auburn Bulldogs made off with an 18-6 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Bree Wehenkel was a standout: she went 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Cammie Hamann, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Auburn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 0 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 13.2.
