Basketball Recap: Deer Valley Comes Up Short

Deer Valley lost against Castro Valley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolverines had to suffer through a 75-44 loss at the hands of the Trojans. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marcellis Thomas and Ja'Marion Carrell certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Thomas dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards, while Carrell posted seven points and three steals.

Deer Valley now has a losing record of 1-2.

Deer Valley has already played their next game, a 67-54 loss against Monte Vista on the 29th. As for Castro Valley, they will welcome Castlemont at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
