Leading Word of God Christian Academy to victory were Christa Greene and Ayeesha Curtis. Greene posted 16 points, while Curtis earned 14 points and five rebounds. Greene's big performance that morning made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Quaranna Blackwell, who put up seven points.

Word of God Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Riverside Christian Academy, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-5.
